There's something deeply ironic about a "Move Over" sticker plastered on the windshield of car that looks like it was destroyed in a head on collision.

Kinja'd!!!

I don't know the story of this car, but it was about 6 or 7 miles down a one lane gravel road, all smashed up and with its plates removed.

I really wanted to make a video of me jumping that thing with my RC car, but there wasn't quite enough random detritus around to make an impromptu jump that would've been big enough.

That's a Legacy GT if anyone was wondering.

Moving on, I spotted this beauty at Ikea. The dude walking away from it was exactly the guy you'd expect: Leather jacket, aviators, about sixty years old and with bright white hair. I saw him and i was like "That old dude could probably beat me up. Also, nice car!"

I know a guy who has the same sticker on his windshield. But then again, his car is a 900+ HP C7, so it makes sense.

I wish the proper authorities would trace down the owner of that car and make them pay to have it properly scrapped.

I really don't know. Didn't their old TV ads have a bug in them?

yeah, me too. That's pretty irresponsible. When I left, at the bottom of the road, there was a cop talking to a flatbed tow truck driver. Pretttty sure the taxpayers ended up paying to have it removed.

They will track down the last registered owner through the VIN, and make them pay.

truthfully, I kind of like the sentiment of the sticker. Our lane discipline is awful in the US, but it's still kind of a dickish way to point that out.

On the other hand we have signs here in Washington that say "keep right except to pass." if someone is hogging the left lane, I have been know to pass on the right, get back in front of the left lane hogger and then stick my entire arm out the window and point exaggeratedly at the sign as we pass it. So that's pretty dick too.

I don't know. I can't remember seeing those ads but then again I don't live in America.

I'm all for the sticker if it meant for jackasses to get out of the passing lane.

Yeah...no, wait.

Now that I'm thinking about it, there is another: the beginning of a new Stephen King novella.
